The Apple Store has introduced three exciting new services designed to help customers get the most out of their Mac or iPod:
One to One
Building on the popularity of personal training at Apple stores, Apple’s new service, One to One, offers hands-on training from the Apple Store's team of expert Creatives.
The in-store Creatives are all professionals from the music and film industries, television and photography experts, webmasters and composers. Personal training sessions are customised to an individual's level of experience and designed to move at their pace whether they are new to the Mac or ready to master the latest pro software. One to One membership costs £79 per year and sessions cover everything from digital photography, building a website, podcasting, iPod + iTunes and movie making to getting started on the Mac, creating professional presentations and music making. Apple also offer open project sessions where their trainer will provide tips, tricks and creative advice from start to finish on any project.
ProCare
For professionals, heavy Mac users and small-to-medium sized businesses there is a new ProCare program, also priced at just £79 a year. ProCare starts with complete set up for a new Mac, as well as an ongoing offer of rapid repair and QuickDrop repair drop off, same-day and 14-day advance reservations at the Genius Bar, yearly tune-ups and backup consultations. All this, on not one, but three Macs per membership.
Personal Shopping
Apple, Regent Street are also introducing a new Personal Shopping service for customers so they can get expert help shopping for a specific product at the time that's most convenient for them. Using their popular online Concierge system, customers can reserve time with a Mac Specialist to find the Mac or iPod that meets their individual needs.
