The Living Room W1 opened in the former Post Office, made famous by its appearance on the cover of David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars album.
From the furniture to the décor, every detail in The Living Room W1 has been considered to create an innovative fusion of homely surroundings inspired with an out of home and contemporary twist. The ground floor boasts a lounge bar and relaxed dining area whilst the first floor will house a more formal dining room with private dining options.
On the ground floor, the rear of the venue is framed by a dramatic bar 17 metres long and 7 metres high, housing a state of the art drinks cabinet. Interior architect, Shideh Shaygan has given an imaginative solution to create a traditional spin to the classic fireplace, with a ‘wall of fire’ dividing the front informal dining area and lounge bar behind. The wall is made from a range of box shelving featuring beautiful burning candles.
