A new lease of life has been unleashed on the Regent Street skyline, so why not breath the same style into your relationship, with a table for two at Aqua, the rooftop restaurant breathing new life into the old Dickins and Jones building.
The Aqua group, hailing from Hong Kong where it holds eight high-end outlets, has now opened in Britain following successful expansion into Chinese capital, Beijing.
The building in question has seen extensive re-development since the long standing department store bowed out in 2006. These days fashion retailer H&M and Nokia have set up home on the street level, with a glass extension with terraces now to be found on the roof.
Not content with opening one restaurant on the mile of style, Aqua in fact offers two dining options. One Japanese style, and one offering the more modern type of cuisine. So if you're one of those couples that can't decide... at least you can go to one each. Although that may defeat the point of 'table for two', we admit.
If you select Aqua Nueva, you can be sure to enjoy contemporary Spanish dishes, with Aqua Kyoto offering everything from sushi to hamachi.
With such choice, you won't know which way to turn once up on the roof, but instead of arguing, make life simple and just try both...
