Sunday 31 May 2009 saw Regent Street transform into a Spanish extravaganza.
The world renowned shopping location closed to traffic and welcomed all things Spanish onto the famous curve for the fourth consecutive 'A Taste of Spain' festival.
Dancing horses from Menorca, flamenco from Andalucia and bag pipers from Galicia entertained the thousands who flocked to the street to soak up the summer sun, shining so brightly on the day it might as well have been Spain itself.
To celebrate this Spanish fiesta of fun, many of the dozens of fabulous Regent Street stores were offering discounts, promotions and in store activities on the day.
Not to be left out, Heddon Street and Swallow Street - the Regent Street Food Quarter, came alive with the sound of (Spanish) music, allowing diners to be entertained, al fresco style.
If you missed out this year, don't worry, the popularity of Spain, Regent Street style, means the festival (if not the glorious weather) will surely be back before we know it.
