Ever fancied drinking a cocktail in an underwater world? Believe it or not, now you can.

October 12 2009 saw the bi-annual unveiling of the redesigned Absolut IceBar on Heddon Street, in the Regent Street Food Quarter.

The brand new Aquatic theme has been designed by the leading IceHotel ice designers and sculptors, and will no doubt be as striking as all previous creations, such as the disco theme and the London inspired sculptures that saw a phone booth, among many other things, take centre stage in the bar.

The Absolut IceBar is the only permanent ice drinking haunt in the whole of the UK. Remaining at -5˚c constantly, everything from the bar, to the walls, to the art itself is made completely from ice - right down to the glass you can drink your Absolut cocktail in.

Obviously, at  -5˚c it can get a tad chilly, but warm overcoats are provided with gloves, and the belowzero bar is right outside for when the cold reaches your toes.
