The National Geographic store has been shortlisted for a prestigious award, 'Store Design of the Year', courtesy of the Oracle Retail Awards 2010.

With the winner set to be announed this month, lets hope that this award will soon be added to a fast-growing collection, with 2009 already having seen the store selected as 'Best Licensed Store' and 'Best Retail Destination' in London, plus 'Best New Entrant of the Year' in Singapore.

Not to be outdone, The Organic Pharmacy is also proving to be quite the 'In Style' thing, having just been honoured with the prestigious In Style award for ‘Best Eco/Organic Brand’ of the year... for the second year in a row.

The much coveted award, voted for by beauty industry experts (make-up artists, facialists, hairdressers and stylists) was bestowed upon the Regent Street based company for their entire range.

The Organic Pharmacy are no doubt over the moon with such an accolade, yet with big names such as Katy Perry and Kylie among the brand's devoted fans, it's hardly surprising.

Selecting the top names for the curve has not gone unrewarded for The Crown Estate either, with the end of 2009 seeing the owners of Regent Street named as the recipient of the Estates Gazette award for 'National Property Company of the Year, Retail & Leisure', sponsored by Nash Bond. The other shortlisted organisations were Grosvenor, Lend Lease, Quintain, and Westfield. Stiff competition indeed.
