With several award winning restaurants already flourishing, it was only a matter of time before the hugely successful FishWorks came to the Regent Street food quarter.
Founded by passionate restaurateur Mitch Tonks, FishWorks began as a specialist fishmonger in Bath in 1995. After the addition of a seafood cafe, today restaurants can be found in Marylebone, Chiswick and of course, now Regent Street.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menu boasts the freshest seafood direct from the South Coast. Among the delicious dishes on offer are wood roasted lobster, Dover Sole with lemon and parsley butter, buttered kippers or smoked salmon for breakfast, and of course, no fish restaurant would be complete without a traditional fish and chips with tartare sauce.
With a fishmonger open daily from 10am, you don’t have to find time to dine in the restaurant to sample the freshest of fish. Pop in after work and pick up hand sliced smoked salmon, sealed in foil bags to keep it fresh for your journey home. Or try a Seafood Box, packed full of fresh fruits de mer in a handy picnic box – perfect for those lunchtime picnics in Hyde Park.
If you’re into cooking and would like to know the secrets behind FishWorks delectable menu, sign up to the Mitch’s Cookery School, running in Bristol, Christchurch and Richmond. Don’t worry though if no amount of schooling would hone your culinary skills. FishWorks also offer a successful home delivery service, with food prepared to your requirements and delivered overnight from Brixham. Ideal for that next dinner party, Mitch will never know if you pass it off as your own…
