Christmas is supposed to be the season of goodwill... but in truth, attempting to navigate the hustle and bustle of Christmas shoppers can leave us decidedly lacking in festive cheer.
Thank goodness then that this year, shops aplenty are offering much needed treats to the weary spender.
Luxury department store Liberty, who recently announced plans to remain open until 10pm on weeknights in the run up to Christmas, is now offering those who spend £100 or more in the final 'hour of power' (between 9pm and 10pm) a presumably much needed glass of champagne.
Champagne shopping during the credit crunch? It could only be Regent Street.
