Easter on Regent Street

If you’re one of those people who always gives up chocolate for Lent, then you must be very relieved that Easter is just around the corner. Here at Regent Street Online, we don’t quite have that self-discipline, but this isn’t to say we aren’t still counting down the days. When you see the gorgeous tasty treats on Regent Street, you’ll understand why...

Of course, everyone associates Easter with chocolate, so head to Godiva, the store on Regent Street that everyone associates with, well… chocolate.

Experts in chocolate since 1926, there probably isn’t much they don’t know about the one thing we can never say no to, which is why they make it so interesting! Where else this Easter could you find delights such as the ‘Artisanal’ egg with nuts – a cracked shell with clusters of almonds and raisins? Available in the milk or the dark variety, you can choose whatever takes your fancy.

Speaking of, the three new ‘eggsquisite’ flavours of Citron Noir, Lait Mousse Spéculoos and Lait Café have certainly caught our attention this year, as has the beaded egg - beautiful inside, and out.

If you’re looking for a gift, then the Spring Box is for you. Shaped as yellow flowers and hand-tied with orange bows – trés stylish, we must say. The large box is filled with an assortment of delicious Godiva chocolates and chicks, while the smaller box is a colourful feast of little wrapped eggs. We’re suddenly feeling the twinge of our sweet tooth…

While Godiva is sure to be able to help you stock up for any number of egg hunts, Liberty is another store that should be indulged in this Easter. Definitely not one for the kiddies, luxury is the keyword for Liberty… and it shows in the eggs! Here, we’ve got our eye on the Charbonnel et Walker egg – a large pink truffle option filled with Marc de Champagne truffles. It sounds too good to be true, let alone eat.

The thing we love about the eggs at Liberty, is that if you opt for something like the Candy House Butterfly Egg, a small porcelain egg filled with wrapped milk chocolates, then one can satisfy ones tastebuds as well as a love for all things pretty.

The porcelain egg can be used as a beautiful ornament once you’ve emptied the contents. We would say it was the perfect gift, but quite frankly we couldn’t give it away. We’d want if for ourselves... as well as all the chocolates.

Greedy, greedy, greedy indeed, but if you can't get away with it at Easter...

Indulge yourself, take a look inside Liberty and Godiva today.
