Marni at H&M

After the sell-out success of H&M’s collaboration with Versace, it seemed impossible that the high street store with a penchant for luxury could top its previous accomplishments.  Another Italian brand is set to hit the Regent Street H&M store with the promise of vivid colours, bold prints and the signature aesthetic of a distinguished designer.

Out goes Donatella and in comes Consuelo Castiglioni, creative director of Marni.
Expect a wealth of colours, tribal prints and Bauhaus inspired patterns. An interesting combination of cropped trousers, full pleated skirts and knits will entice shoppers to queue for hours once more outside the Regent Street H&M store. (Rhyme intended).

Of the collection Castiglioni explained, “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements.” Marni fans will therefore be able to access key looks without guiltily transferring money from ISA accounts.

For those wishing to truly lose themselves in the magic that is Marni, a selection of jewellery, shoes, bags and scarves will also be available to add finishing touches to the perfect spring wardrobe. What better way to embrace warmer temperatures and the prospect of summer than in a colourful creation from Marni at H&M?
