Editor's Tip:

Invest in a scented candle or two from Penhaligons, ideal for setting that relaxing mood.

National Bed Month

March is officially National Bed Month, if you didn't already know. So what does this entail exactly? Not a lot to be honest, except it seems to be an excuse to educate people on how best to get a good night's sleep. Nothing wrong with that really, the tips offered in most magazines are very fair points; no alcohol just before bed, a regular sleep pattern, comfortable bed... it all makes sense. Here at Regent Street Online however, we believe you can only truly relax and feel at home when you're surrounded by the finest of things. In other words... it's another excuse to shop!

So lets be prepared to give this a go and spend March trying to curb those late nights and see if we actually emerge in thirty days time looking ten years younger. If we're going to stay in, our bedrooms have to be inviting. Head to Zara Home and Habitat to stock up on beautiful home accessories, such as colourful cushions to curl up to or a new nightie to replace the buzz you'd have felt from buying that new outfit to the party you'll now miss.

Maybe you'll decide to splash out on a new bed, given that this is the most important ingredient to a good night's sleep. Habitat do a glorious four poster, ideal for making you feel like a princess, topped off with a snug handwoven throw.

Finally, we suggest you invest in an eye mask for two reasons. One, you may decide you love your new bedroom so much that you stay in it all day long, or two, you opt into redecorating but opt out of giving up your social life. Completely understandable, but you'll need the Zara eye mask when you're coming home at dawn...

Sweet dreams.
