Saturday 6 December 2008 saw V.I.P Day return to Regent Street, in a weekend of offers, entertainment and traffic-free fun for all.

Very Important Pedestrians is the one day in the year when shoppers can roam across the West End without having to negotiate the many cars and buses, not to mention cyclists, that our capital has to offer.

Always a huge success, with street performers, in store treats and discounts aplenty, this year was bigger and better than ever before, with a whole weekend of entertainment and enticing competitions asking you to wish upon a star and make your Christmas wish come true...

In addition to VIP Day, this year welcomed 'Family Day'. Sunday 7 December saw the traffic return to the street, but the entertainment continue, with a fun-filled day packed with games for children of all ages.
