Creativity is at the heart of incredible Fashion & Design, so to encourage everyone to tap into their inner-creative we are introducing Creative Classes, a series of interactive workshops on everything from the art of shoe shining, designing your own body scrub to perfecting sunset photography.

Throughout September, discover tips, tricks and try your hand at a new skill, as experts and creatives from the worlds of Fashion & Design provide inspiration and practical lessons at intimate workshops in various Regent Street locations.

Perhaps you’re thinking about homemade gifts this Christmas? Why not learn to knit a woolly scarf with Wool & the Gang at Uniqlo, or perhaps monogram a t-shirt at DMC’s embroidery clinic at Warehouse?

Or if you’re just looking for something a little different to enjoy with friends, why not pencil in a life drawing class with Mark Makers at tibits?

Knitting with Wool and the Gang
Friday 8 September – three classes available at 11:00, 13:00, 18:00

With the colder months creeping in, there’s no better time to start planning your winter wardrobe of knitwear. Book into one of three knitting workshops hosted by Wool and the Gang at Uniqlo, and learn how to knit your very own handcrafted scarf or jumper.

Sunset Photography with Stylonylon

Still Life Drawing with Mark Makers

Forget what you think you know about still life drawing - Mark Makers offers a new, original way of interpreting this traditional medium into a fun-filled experience. Using quirky props (think disco balls and tropical fruit) and leading assorted drawing exercises to warm up, they guarantee to bring out your hidden creative side. Learn how to breathe new life into clothes with a timeless skill, thanks to a day of drop in embroidery sessions at Warehouse. Hosted by DMC (the 270-year-old French embroidery thread brand that is used by fashion houses across the world) and Rebeckah Kemi Apara (the founder of Embellished Talk, a platform of creative workshops and content) whether you want to personalise your jeans or add an on-trend motif to your classic white tee, these are the experts with the know-how.

Oliver Sweeney and The Art of Shoe Shine

Oliver Sweeney’s Cobbler-in-Chief is set to share his wealth of knowledge on all things shoe care, exclusively at the Regent Street store. A chance to hone your skills from a master and learn the secrets behind getting the perfect shoe shine, it’s a must for all sartorial gentleman. All guests will also receive a drink on arrival, as well as a complimentary shoe shine kit to practice your new-found skills at home.
