This half term, Le Méridien Piccadilly has teamed up with the renowned Philharmonia Orchestra to host an imaginative and fun-filled creative music workshop just for children.
On Tuesday 24th October 2017, music education specialist John Webb and a trio of Philharmonia musicians will invite little ones* to unlock their creativity through music and play.
Youngsters will create their own musical performance of “Exploring the Seasons” interpreting the theme entirely through song, body percussion, listening activities and creative work. No musical experience is necessary, but kids are also invited to bring along their own instruments if they wish too.
Meanwhile, adults can sit back and indulge in a traditional Afternoon Tea, as kids get explore their musical talents. Expect dainty finger sandwiches with homemade, fresh fillings, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, as well as French pastries, all served with your choice of tea or coffee.
In a grand finale, bringing the day’s workshop to a close, children will perform side-by-side with the Philharmonia trio to their families. They’ll even be rewarded with their own mini Afternoon Tea as a treat for all their hard work and creativity.
Don’t miss out on this fun-filled, educational afternoon for all the family.
