Chinese New Year

In a nod to New Year traditions in China, Regent Street became home to two beautiful Bonsai trees, each with celebratory red envelopes delicately hanging from their branches.
One hundred shoppers helped themselves to a red envelope and were surprised and delighted with gifts, experiences and in-store celebrations, including £25 Hunter gift cards, £125 to spend at Hawksmoor, a complimentary personal training session at ThirdSpace and £25 Regent Street gift cards, to name a few.

2017 was the fifth year of our annual ‘Summer Streets’ celebration, where every Sunday Regent Street becomes traffic free for a day of themed activities and experiences for shoppers.
2017 saw each weekend showcase talks, pop-ups, shows and offers from our world class partners, shops, restaurants and bars. Take a look at the highlights from this year here.
Fashion & Design Month
In celebration of two of the capital’s biggest dates in September, London Design Festival and London Fashion Week, Regent Street presented a calendar of cultural experiences for visitors. This included Creative Classes where visitors learned the art of sunset photography, lifestyle drawing and emboridery to name a few, plus talks and seminars from leaders in the fashion and design industry, including Alexandra Shulman, Bella Freud and Shini Park.

NFL on Regent Street
An annual traffic-free event, NFL saw Regent Street transform into a haven for American Football fans and families, with pop-up experiences on the street, live performances and player appearances.
Regent Street Motor Show
This annual traffic free event is the UK’s largest free-to-view Motor Show. Showcasing the best of veteran to pioneering motor cars, it’s a day the whole family can enjoy together.
Regent Street Christmas Lights Switch On
Thursday 16th November
Regent Street was the first to introduce Christmas Lights to the West End in 1954 and ever since our annual switch on, signals the start of the festive season on Regent Street. With a star-studded line up guaranteed and the thrill of a live countdown, the event attracts thousands of visitors.

Sunday 19th November
Hamleys Christmas Toy Parade will return to Regent Street for the third year this November, transforming the street into traffic-free family extravaganza. Look out for much-loved characters, colourful floats, giant balloons and even a visit from Santa himself.
