Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen, 3-9 Heddon Street

This firm favourite serves up gourmet European dishes with flair, all from the repertoire of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. During breakfast, brunch, lunch, pre-theatre and leisurely dinners, enjoy culinary delights accompanied by an extensive selection of expertly mixed cocktails and shakes. There’s also a great children’s menu if you’re looking for family-friendly options, plus a leafy terrace for alfresco dining on sunny days. We recommend taking advantage of the reasonably priced, delicious set menu available from midday until 7pm.

tibits, 12-14 Heddon Street

This vegetarian and vegan restaurant is the perfect spot if you're looking for something a little lighter for lunch or dinner. Diners can choose from more than 40 homemade, mouth-watering dishes, served both hot and cold from a carefully curated buffet. All dishes are charged by weight and available to eat in or takeaway, so you can enjoy as little or as much as you like. Great for locals and visitors alike, titbits also has a lively bar in the evening serving wines and cocktails as well as hand-blended smoothies.

Momo // Black Dice, 25 Heddon Street

Transport yourself to the sunny climes of Northern Africa at one of London’s favourite bars and restaurants, Momo. The secluded terrace, hidden amongst exotic plants and scattered tapestry cushions, is the perfect setting for its menu of sublime signature cocktails, such as the refreshing 'Black Banshee', a blend of Tanqueray gin, elderflower and fresh blackberries. It offers a superb selection of hot and cold mezze, plus a great-value lunch deal which can be ordered in advance: great for hungry locals strapped for time. Underneath Momo is Black Dice, a lively bar and night-spot with DJs at weekends.

ICEBAR LONDON, 32-33 Heddon Street

The UK’s only permanent bar made entirely of ice (everything from the walls and tables right down to the drinking glasses) ICEBAR LONDON is not to be missed. Don a thermal, silvery cape and head down to sub-zero temperatures to enjoy an array of vibrant themed cocktails: our current favourite is ‘Ace of Spades’ a heady blend of Four Roses Bourbon, pink grapefruit liqueur, passion fruit juice, apple purée and a dash of lemon juice – divine. Once cocktail hour’s over, head to the ‘Below Zero’ restaurant and lounge where a menu of gourmet dishes is available, from flat iron steak with bone marrow to the equally moreish braised pork belly.

Piccolino // Cicchetti Bar, 21 Heddon Street

A winning combination of traditional and contemporary Italian home cooking, Piccolino serves only the best and freshest seasonal produce, including Italian cheeses, meat and seafood. The open kitchen serves a myriad of authentic Italian dishes from its generous menu, ranging from sharing dishes to meats, stone baked pizzas and tempting desserts – all of which make it almost impossible to choose a favourite. If the sun’s shining, be sure to grab a spot on the alfresco terrace, or head downstairs to the elegant Cicchetti Bar which serves lighter dishes of Venetian tapas, the perfect accompaniment to its sublime collection of cocktails and fragrant Italian wines.

AUBAINE, 4 Heddon Street

A sophisticated French brasserie where dishes are simple and authentic, right through from breakfast, brunch and lunch to dinner. The generous menu offers French classics such as the delectable moules marinière et frites, and encourages kids to join in with the grown-ups, offering smaller plates of baked salmon, halloumi salads and more. Got a sweet tooth? Save room for dessert, as you’ll soon be swooning over the exquisite collection of eclairs, pastries and gâteaux.

Strawberry Moons, 15 Heddon Street

Simply the destination for a good time, Strawberry Moons boasts a vast menu of classic cocktails, a light-up dance floor and cheesy disco pop every day of the week. Its all day menu offers plenty of favourites, from classic burgers and platters to share, to a selection of small dishes at £10 for three. If you’re looking for somewhere to drink a delicious Mojito and dance the night away to your favourite pop hits, this is the place for you.
