In a nod to the Easter tradition, MASH will be surprising and delighting shoppers with its very own ‘Egg Hunt’ on Thursday 13th April. Hidden around Brewer Street and Golden Square will be a number of MASH eggs, each with an eggcelent prize hidden inside, ranging from complimentary cocktails to dining experiences for two. Head to the splendid Oscar Wilde Bar this weekend and spoil yourself with a modern twist on the nostalgic British afternoon tea. Designed by Hotel Café Royal’s talented Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Barber, the Easter Afternoon Tea is a feast for all the senses; traditional favourites, from cucumber and coronation chicken sandwiches, to homemade scones with lashings of jam and clotted cream are served alongside playful Easter-inspired desserts. Expect a delicious Simnel cake with golden eggs, moist carrot cake with a cream cheese frosting and our favourite, the elegant Pistachio and orange macarons, complete with chocolate bunny ears.

Exclusively for the Bank Holiday, Head Chef Roberto Reatini has created a delicious Easter Specials menu featuring gastronomic delights such as homemade Pappardelle with artichokes and fish ragù and the vibrant Grilled lamb with pea purée and Dauphinoise potatoes. Frescobaldi’s expert sommeliers are also on hand to pair your dishes with some of the most excellent wines (available by the glass as well as the bottle) from its extensive collection.
