It’s Cocktail O’Clock on Regent Street

London Cocktail Week returns to the capital this month, celebrating the city’s vibrant drinks scene from 3rd to 9th October 2016. To get into the spirit, we round up the best of Regent Street’s participating bars and the range of irresistible cocktails on offer.

Not that we need a reason for “cocktail o’clock”, but we’re glad to inform you that the capital’s favourite drinks festival - London Cocktail Week - has arrived on Regent Street.

From Monday 3rd October – Sunday 9th October, sip and shake your way through some of the most delicious cocktails on offer at our array of bars and restaurants on Heddon Street and up and down the length of Regent Street.

To whet your appetites, we’ve listed the best of LCW below, with details of the most delicious concoctions from some of Regent Street’s favourite watering holes.

Enjoy responsibly!

Bar Américain at Brasserie Zédel, 20 Sherwood Street, W1F 7ED

Underneath the hustle and bustle of the much loved Brasserie Zédel, Bar Américain has a swanky, speakeasy vibe and a killer cocktail menu to boot. On the menu for LCW is the 'No. 20' – a heady mix of Portobello Road gin, sweet vermouth, Maraschino liqueur and orange bitters. Yours for £5 with a LCW wristband and it tastes the bee’s knees.

*Please note Bar Américain will be closed on Friday 7th October for a private event.

MASH, 77 Brewer Street, W1F 9ZN

Regent Street’s renowned steak house is also home to an impressive menu of American-style cocktails. For LCW it invites you to try “Punch The Buffalo” - a smooth concoction of Buffalo Trace, La Concha sherry, maple syrup, cardamom and lemon, served over crushed ice, reminiscent of a feisty iced tea. And served with it… A ping pong ball of course! £5 as part of LCW.

Momo, 25 Heddon Street, W1B 4BH

The ‘Black Flag’ may sound ominous, but trust us when we say this dark, mysterious cocktail tucked away in Heddon Street’s Momo packs a punch. A delectable blend of Bulleit bourbon, Punt e Mes, Amontillado sherry and charred pineapple syrup, it is served in a little black bottle over ice. We love.

Just fancy a great cocktail? There’s plenty more to be found on Regent Street from award-winning mixology to classic concoctions. We round up some of the latest cocktail news below, or else visit our ‘Best Bars’ round-up for your go-to-guide on the best places to stop for a tot.

Veeraswamy, 99 Regent Street, W1B 4EZ

Having just been awarded a coveted Michelin star, Veeraswamy offers incredible, authentic Indian cuisine, paired perfectly with its equally irresistible cocktail menu. Our pick is the ‘1926 cocktail’ created to celebrate its 90th anniversary, a delightfully moreish mix of vodka, midori, fresh pineapple and lime juice, topped up with prosecco. Cheers!

The Green Bar at Hotel Café Royal, 68 Regent Street, W1B 4DY

Due to popular demand, The Green Bar’s incredible botanical cocktail collection with Givenchy perfumery has been extended until 16th October. The collection of ten cocktails (£15 each and all available alcohol-free) have been created to celebrate the L’Atelier  de  Givenchy  fine  fragrances, each carefully curated using perfume notes married with fragrant botanicals. Our pick is the elegant ‘Iris Harmonique‘ a simple blend of coconut-infused  Ketel  One  Vodka, kumquat  liqueur  and  lemon  zest – beautiful.

tibits, 12-14 Heddon Street, W1B 4DA

With the nights drawing in, you could be forgiven for craving a hot toddy rather than a cocktail. Enter tibits, which has just updated its menu with a delectable selection of hot cocktails to indulge in this autumn. Choose from a Dirty Chai Latte, with fragrant notes of warming cinnamon, a Hot Buttered Rum, or for chocolate lovers, the tempting Baileys Hot Chocolate. All £8.50.
