OLYMPIC SPIRIT ON REGENT STREET

We have put together a list of all the best places to eat, shop and train like an Olympian.

With the Rio 2016 Olympics now in full swing, look no further than Regent Street to help get you into the spirit of the summer’s most anticipated sporting celebration.

WHERE TO EAT

The modern American steak house, Mash, has created an innovative Brazilian inspired pairing menu to celebrate this year’s Olympics. Enjoy Mash’s signature seared beef with a trio of mini cachaça cocktails, for £12, including an English garden twist on the caipirinha, with added lavender and rosemary syrup.

Gather your friends and colleagues and enjoy the Olympic Games at Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen. Watch the Games on-screen, whilst you enjoy a range of colourful cocktails inspired by the Olympic flag. Drop in whenever the mood takes you or plan an outing with friends – groups can order a handy all-inclusive package of burgers, chips and buckets of beer.

WHAT TO DO

For cyclists feeling inspired by the incredible hill-climbing and road-racing taking place in Rio, register to join Rapha’s next cycle challenge from Manchester to London on Sunday 4th September. The Rapha team will take 300 riders on a 220 mile path through the heart of England, whilst raising money for ‘Ambitious about Autism’. A challenge for even seasoned cyclists, Manchester to London is unique, fully supported, and a celebration of British cycling and culture. For further details, see here: http://pages.rapha.cc/m2l

WHAT TO BUY

Niketown, Nike’s flagship store on Regent Street, houses the brand’s largest sports clothing and footwear department in Europe and is a must-visit for all your sporting needs. Try out the ID space to create your own uniquely personalised footwear and put an extra spring in your step this Olympic season.
