To celebrate April Fools’ Day – or Poisson d'Avril as they say in France – Brasserie Zédel will be offering a special gift to all those who dine that day.
If you’re looking for a cheeky twist to your dining experience, this is the one to book. The French tradition sees children and adults stick paper fish to unsuspecting victims as a fun prank and shouting 'Poisson d'Avril!' when they are discovered. Offering a play on this, if you dine in the Brasserie on Monday 1st April 2019 you will be given a complimentary chocolate fish, as well as a paper fish (sticking it to other people's backs is encouraged).
There will also be a Poisson d'Avril competition on social media. To enter, simply Instagram or Tweet a picture of your fish and tag @BrasserieZedel with the hashtag #PoissondAvril. The most creative will win dinner for two at the Brasserie.
