Incorporate mindfulness into your workout before a healthy brunch at Magpie
With mindful running celebrated for its ability to help you run more consistently and to reconnect with your body and soul, now is the time to incorporate it into your wellbeing goals for 2019 with the help of Regent Street and Balance magazine.
If you’re looking to improve your wellness, at 10am on Sunday 20th January, head down on Heddon Street for a 5k mindful running workshop followed by a nutritious brunch at Magpie.
To kick start the morning, you will be shown simple breathing techniques by the ChasingLights Collective running crew to help you to calm and clear a busy mind. The focus will be on mindful movement, so with these techniques mastered, you will embark on a 5k run very much at your own pace while remaining focused on mindful tools throughout the run.
Following the run, you’ll be invited to join a brunch at Magpie with Balance founder and editor, Sophie Scott. Sophie will be sharing her wellness tips for 2019, whilst enjoying an array of healthy dishes such as Shakshuka or Porridge with berries and honey, accompanied by fresh juices and hot drinks.
