Christmas is all about giving, so in the festive spirit of giving to others for six days this December, Regent Street will be giving you the gift of time. The Regent Street Winter Retreat is ready to offer you a cosy bolthole to escape from the chilly city outside and help you prepare for the festive season by taking care of yourself.
Following a shopping session spent selecting gifts for loved ones, we’re inviting you to drop off gifts to be wrapped by the retreat’s resident wrappers. Embrace a moment of calm and allow others to gift-wrap whilst you take the time to enjoy a rolling programme of wellbeing classes and workshops.
The likes of mindful yoga sessions, gong baths and grooming treatments, all designed to give you back some you time and foster a slower, more mindful Christmas, will be on offer on a complimentary basis for visitors to Regent Street.
Or, simply take a moment to pause and experience some peace at the retreat’s lounge. Sip on a hot cocoa and enjoy a moment of respite from the bustle of festive shoppers. There will also be a Christmas Card Station, with exclusive illustrations of the stunning Christmas Lights on Regent Street Christmas Cards waiting to be signed, sealed and delivered to your family and friends.

Sound Bathing

Are you looking for an experience to keep stress levels down? Even if you've never experienced a sound bath come and try it for the first time, as Leo Cosendai (founder of Third Ear and author of 7 Days of Sound Meditation) will guide you through a meditation through sound where you'll reach new levels of relaxation. It's open to all and is becoming the new way to meditate for both beginners and seasoned meditators.
Bauble Painting
Friday 30th November, 12.00 -1.30pm
Friday 14th December, 1.00 – 2.30pm
Create your own bespoke personalised baubles. Using delicate ceramic baubles and real gold leaf create a set of beautiful unique decorations for your tree. You will receive instruction and guidance throughout the session by professional illustrator Emma Block. You will leave with new skills in painting and working with gold leaf, as well as a set of beautiful baubles ready to hang on your tree.
Wood Pyrography
Saturday 1st December, 1.00 – 2.30pm
Saturday 8th December, 12.00 – 1.30pm
Learn the craft of burning wood to create permanent decorative burn marks in this pyrography workshop. Guests will use pyrography irons with a range of different hot branding tips for guests to use, and will come away with a wooden chopping board and kitchen utensil!
*Please note this workshop has an age limit of 12, and 12-17 must be accompanied with an adult.
Regent Street Gingerbread Architecture
Saturday 15th December, 12.00 – 1.30pm
In this workshop guests will be shown how to build their very own version of Regent Street's Apple store! Guests will be provided with delicious gingerbread in flat panels and instructions, including various icing and trimmings to customise their masterpiece as they wish.
Festive Decoration Making
Friday 7th December, 5.00 – 6.30pm
Saturday 15th December, 2.30 – 3.45pm
Zack Mclaughlin is a fantasy artist and sculptor. His wood, paper and clay birds are visions of beauty, and in this workshop Zack will be teaching guests how to construct robins or hares out of wire to create the ultimate Christmas mantelpiece ornament, or a wonderful Christmas gift.
Christmas Card Illustration with Naomi Howarth from Kinship Press

Join Naomi Howarth, a London based designer and illustrator for a Christmas card illustration class, following her successful introduction to watercolour illustration class on Regent Street during Fashion & Design Month. Naomi will teach guests illustration techniques including colour mixing and brushstroke movements for guests to create their own Christmas cards to send to loved ones.
Christmas Wreath Making with Moyses Stevens
