Choose from a selection of deliciously decadent foodie treats with friends and family this Easter on Regent Street.
Easter is rapidly approaching, and where better to celebrate than on London’s favourite street, an area quickly becoming known as the central London dining destination. Look no further than Regent Street for your every foodie whim this Easter bank holiday and you can find everything from rooftop dining at aqua to intimate cafés set within flagship stores, such as Thomas’s in Burberry.
With a slew of hotly anticipated new openings on and around Regent Street, including Nieves Barragan’s Sabor, classic British fare at The Wigmore in The Langham, London and Magpie, a fusion restaurant from the team behind Hackney’s Michelin-starred Pidgin, there’s a plethora of options to ensure you dine in the city’s latest launches this long weekend.
The curious foodies amongst us keen to follow the curve of Regent Street will discover Swallow Street and the famous Veeraswamy. The UK’s oldest Indian restaurant dating back to 1926 is certainly not one to miss, particularly after it was awarded a Michelin star decades after it pioneered serving curry with a cold beer.
For a traditional Easter experience, tea-lovers will rejoice at Hotel Café Royal’s decadent afternoon tea. The iconic hotel has partnered with Diptyque to create a tea experience inspired by its most iconic scents; Geranium Rose, Freesia, Choisya Orange Blossom and Baies Rose & Berries.
To celebrate the street’s foodie credentials this Easter, we’re hosting a competition with the chance to win five tickets to a Regent Street Spring Food Safari hosted by Rosie Birkett on Sunday April 22nd . The safari will be a culinary tour, with each course served in a different restaurant on Regent Street.
To enter, follow @regentstreetw1 and tag yourself and friend with #springfoodsafari in the Regent Street Spring Safari Instagram post between Friday 30th March and Monday 2nd April.
