To celebrate, The Wigmore will be giving away 200 Pride Choux pastries, as well as a serving of free soft serve ice cream on Saturday 6th July between 12 – 2PM. To make Pride on Regent Street even more special, The Wigmore has also created a special frozen slushy cocktail: Miami Viced Tea (Banks 5 Island rum, strawberry, coconut, lime, pineapple and silver tip jasmine white tea) – available for £5 on 6th July only.
To kick start this week’s celebrations, J.Crew has partnered with queer activist, artist and designer Hello My Name Is Wednesday and the Albert Kennedy Trust to host two in-store events. On Monday 1st July, Hello My Name Is Wednesday will be live painting on the J.Crew windows of Regent Street and on 2nd July, Hello My Name Is Wednesday will be screen-printing t-shirts purchased in-store. There will also be frosé (frozen rose), Pride biscuits and a complimentary customised t-shirt for purchases over £100. 10% of the sales made that evening will also be donated to the Albert Kennedy Trust.
