Joining the Hotel’s award-winning Afternoon Tea offering, the aptly named “diptyque Afternoon Tea” will be available exclusively in the gilded splendour of the Oscar Wilde Bar.
An indulgence for all the senses, Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Barber has created four new sweet delicacies together with diptyque, each one using the flavours and ingredients found in four of the perfumer’s much-loved scents: Roses, Vanilla, Violette and Verveine.
Amongst these new creations are the ‘Rose Victoria’, a sumptuous Victoria sponge filled with raspberry and rose jam and a lychee and rose mousse, topped with silver leaf and crystallised rose, plus a ‘Lemon Verbena’ a sablé Breton base filled with an orange crémeux and verveine-infused lemon cream. Heavenly.
Alongside these delectable sweet treats will also be the classic Afternoon Tea offering of delicate tea sandwiches, fruity scones with clotted cream and jam, as well as your choice of tea or a glass of Laurent Perrier NV.
A truly unique experience, all guests will additionally receive a beautifully gift packaged 70g Baies candle to take home.
The diptyque Afternoon Tea is available for £60 per person, or £65 paired with a glass of Laurent Perrier NV, exclusively between 2pm - 5pm Monday to Tuesday and 12noon - 5pm Wednesday to Sunday.
