What’s on for Father’s Day in London

The best ways to spoil the father figure in your life this Father’s Day

It’s official - hugs are back and just in time for Father’s Day. Whether you’re spending the day together or apart, it might have been a while since you had the chance to treat the father figure in your life. In need of some inspiration? Read on for our recommendations on how to make them feel extra special.

For the early-risers...

Treat them to a Father’s Day brunch, now back on the menu at Ole & Steen. Head to St James’s Market, near Piccadilly Circus, and treat them to some Danish hygge in the heart of London. We recommend the manuka smoked salmon with poached eggs and the avocado on toast. Yum.

For the art-lovers…

Lose yourself gallery hopping in St James’s, starting off at David Hockney’s ‘The arrival of Spring at the Royal Academy where Hockney’s 116 uplifting pieces celebrate the natural world before wandering down to White Cube and the galleries of Bury Street and Ryder Street. Or, if you can’t make it into central London, why not experience an exhibition together, whilst apart tune in to Krishen Khanna: Paintings from my sitting room from Grosvenor Gallery and experience an exhibition together, whilst apart.

For the foodies…

For those looking for something with all the trimmings, we recommend Avenue’s Father’s Day Sunday roast on St James’s Street , complete with live blues music and free flowing bubbles, red or white wine. Hawksmoor Air Street’s Sunday Roast also comes top of our list, in beautiful art deco surroundings.

For the sports-lovers...
