Watch a Horror Movie

Nothing screams Halloween more than scaring yourself silly with a horror flick. Revisit the classics at Regent Street Cinema where they will be showing John Carpenter’s creepy thriller Halloween on 31st October, followed by a screening of an exclusive recorded interview with the director. If it’s spooky Saturday entertainment for the family you’re looking for, then head to the cinema’s Kids Club on 29th October, where it will be showing Tim Burton’s much loved animated tale of The Corpse Bride. Tickets are just £1.75 each and there will be free-face painting for kids too. Book here.

‘Meet The Widow’ at aqua nueva

aqua nueva has teamed up with champagne brand, Veuve Clicquot to host its first ever Halloween party on Saturday 29th October. Marking the 150th anniversary of Madame Clicquot’s death, guests are invited to 'Meet the Widow' as the grand dame of champagne returns to settle her affairs once and for all.

Promising to be a spectacular evening of gothic glamour, from 8pm – 3am there will be live entertainment, including a tarot reader, spellbinding roving magician and a silhouette artist.

A live DJ will be spinning the decks in time with performances from Black Swan dancers, plus a midnight procession honouring Madame Clicquot with a candlelit Jeroboam.

EAT & DRINK

Creepy Cocktails

Gordon Ramsay’s team will be conjuring up some ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ at Heddon Street Kitchen this Halloween, leading with its seasonal Smashing Pumpkin cocktail. Meanwhile, across the road titbits will be serving up a deathly strong Ghostini; shaken vodka and pumpkin juice and its Scary Sour; an Amaretto Sour with pumpkin juice. Both £8.50 and available until 2nd November.

Ghoulish Gourmet

There’s no tricks but lots of treats at Godiva, where it will be giving its famed chocolate dipped strawberries a spooky makeover, transforming them into ‘strawberry ghosts’. Meanwhile, Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn will be showcasing her own “ghoulish mess” recipe exclusively for Halloween weekend.

At Heddon Street Kitchen, on Sunday 30th October, not only do kids eat free (with every adult meal ordered) but there will even be an-in house face painter transforming kids into creepy crawlies, scary skeletons and wonderful witches.
