Influenced by Swedish 1960s brutalism and the playful postmodernism of the ’70s and ’80s, newly opened Eytys 1000-square-foot Soho space just off Regent Street will feature the streetwear brands full collections of impeccably designed footwear, jeans and soon-to-launch unisex ready-to-wear.
The Regent Street store is a minimalist’s dream, featuring rough concrete walls contrasted by design elements in massive aluminium and Italian burl veneer. This unique material combination was favoured by Dutch postmodernist Hans Hollein, whose legacy is also visible in a metal palm tree and the mirrored vaults opening to the fitting rooms.
Providing a creative environment in which to shop this burgeoning brand, Eytys is an exciting addition to the Regent Street portfolio.
