Wimbledon on Regent Street

As London’s best-loved tennis tournament grips the capital, we bring you the Regent Street insider’s guide to the best places to shop, eat and drink to get you into the sporting spirit. Whether you have tickets for the finals on Centre Court, or plan to watch with your friends on the big screen, make sure to schedule a visit to Regent Street before the finals this Sunday, to enjoy some of our tennis themed treats.

Gaucho, 25 Swallow Street
This Argentine steak restaurant has a space for everyone to watch and enjoy the tennis tournament of the year. Enjoy a decedent strawberry dessert paired with a refreshing summery cocktail from Gaucho’s specially created Wimbledon themed menu. Set to run from 27th June – 10th July.

Hotel Café Royal, 68 Regent Street
Hotel Café Royal’s talented chefs have created a petit gateaux named “Love Love”. Composed of a milk chocolate and lemon verbena mousse with a flourless sponge base, the sweet treat is completed with an edible chocolate racket, tennis ball and green lawn. The special edition Wimbledon cake will be available alongside all other pastries and cakes in The Café and will run from 27th June until 10th July.

Aubaine, 4 Heddon Street
Alongside its menu of classic French dishes, Aubaine invites you to enjoy a glass of Devaux Grande Réserve paired with strawberries for £10.50, or else an indulgent Wimbledon-inspired éclair at £4.50 or Limited Edition millefeuille for £5.50.

Heddon Street Kitchen, 3-9 Heddon Street
As well as live screenings of Wimbledon until 10th July, Gordon Ramsay’s team has created a  scrumptious, strawberry and basil parfait ‘tennis ball’ dessert, that – almost – looks too good to eat.  Enjoy alongside one of the restaurant’s refreshing themed cocktails or the scintillating new Summer Spritz.

Frescobaldi, 15 New Burlington Place
Frescobaldi has been transformed into a striking, sporting playground to celebrate Wimbledon, with a ceiling of suspended tennis balls. Relax and discover its new summer menu whilst sipping on delicious cocktails under the quirky new canopy.

Armani Exchange, 244 Regent Street
This year’s Armani Exchange’s Spring Summer collection features the perfect combination of relaxed and sophistic athleisure attire for male and female Wimbledon fans alike. Must haves for the event are the Croplin Seamed Fit and Flare Dress and the Light Blue Varsity Jacket – perfect preppy pieces for cheering on your favourite players. See the full look book here.

Liberty London, 208-222 Regent Street
For the dedicated tennis fan or fashionista, Liberty’s latest collection with Nike is the perfect accessory for this Wimbledon season. The Nikecourt x Liberty print, Dawn Meadow, created exclusively for Nike with Liberty, traces back to the British brand’s floral archive sketches. This wildflower landscape embodies British summertime and is the perfect shoe to wear, whether the sun shines or not. See the whole collection here.

A number of Regent Street’s bars and restaurants will also be screening Wimbledon this weekend, so you can watch every point while wining and dining. These include Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill, Chicchetti Bar at Piccolino and Strawberry Moons.
