This January watch Regent Street reimagined into a shining spectacular as light festival, Lumiere, arrives in London. Follow our Regent Street Lumiere London Pinterest Walking Tour to make sure you catch the best of the illuminations.
Begin your evening at Oxford Circus, where you’ll be awe-struck by the stunning interactive installation (‘1.8 London’ designed by Janet Echelman) floating above you. Control the light patterns using a special app and make the experience yours.
Next stop, a spot of shopping for the latest SS16 pieces at COS – the ideal location to view the LED stick men (‘Keyframes’ by Group LAPS) dancing across Liberty House.
Time for dinner; taste Tuscan flavours at Frescobaldi or seasonal specialties at Heddon Street Kitchen.
As you saunter down to Hawksmoor Air Street for indulgent desserts, can you hear the sounds of the jungle? You’re not mistaken – you will discover the giant elephant projection (‘Elephantastic’ by Top’lá Design) making his journey through the archways.
Finally, finish off your illuminated evening with a signature cocktail at MASH.
