Central London is home to skilled creators and curators at the top of their game. Read on and get to know a few of the artisans that call Regent Street home.

Wellness with Earl of East

Step into Earl of East and you’ll find all kinds of impressive home, body and fragrance delights from independent brands.

Not only are some of the brightest new wellness launches housed under Earl of East’s roof, they’re also developed there. Founders Niko Dafkos and Paul Firmin are pioneers of home fragrance, honing their craft to perfection since the brand’s debut in 2014.

Their most recent collaboration was with musician Sampha, who helped develop the Sensory Nectar candle as an ode to his time spent writing songs in his studio.

Grooming with Supply 91

The modern experience of a barbershop is something that Maxwell Oakley and Luke Davies set out to redefine when they opened Supply 91, and we certainly think they’ve achieved their goal.

As well as being named GQ magazine’s Best Barbers in London, Supply 91 have earned an impressive reputation for their sharp skill, eye for trends and deep knowledge of their craft.

Amongst their clientele, they pick up even more love for their personal approach, making each appointment a chance to have meaningful conversation and share knowledge so that their handiwork can last far beyond the salon chair.

Fragrance with Aromaria

Born in Mexico, Aromaria is the result of a passionate love affair between founder Ana Patricia Nikaido and the world of perfumery.

After researching fragrance to help write a novel she was working on, Ana Patricia fell head over heels for the art of scent design, spending years perfecting her skill and learning from some of the world’s most renowned experts.

Today, her craft comes to life in the form of luxury interior fragrances, where items like candles, essences and diffusers lock in the unique, unprecedented aromas she developed in France.

Cuisine with Fonda

Chef Patron Santiago Lastra is the living example of how dedication to the art of food can yield truly delicious results.

His Mexican restaurant Fonda is proof of his skill in combining regional specialities with modern creativity, resulting in unlikely (but incredibly tasty) dishes like fig and mezcal rice pudding.

Santiago’s rich knowledge of Mexican dining tradition has evolved alongside his experience with more international flavours and ideas, and you can taste the results for yourself over on Heddon Street.

Coffee with Compane

New to Regent Street, Compane is where craft appears in the form of aromatic coffee brewed to perfection - and, of course, with the impressive latte art to match.

Named after the French word for ‘company’, the café worked so hard to perfect its art, it quickly became a cult staple amongst London’s most fiendish coffee connoisseurs.

The finest Allpress beans are one thing, but knowing how to work with them is what truly sets Compane apart. The team’s pinpoint-accurate knowledge of temperature, texture and timings will have you running to Quadrant Arcade for your next caffeine fix.

Läderach

Swiss chocolatier Läderach now has over 60 years of experience in the craft, so we just had to share some love for their longstanding commitment to all things chocolatey.

Though the brand is now available worldwide, it began as a family-owned and operated business, starting with Rudolf Läderach Jr. Three generations later, his family still champions the craft, with his grandson Elias achieving the prestigious title of World Chocolate Master.
