Presenter, comedian and content creator Ellie Evelyn shares her favourite fashion, dining and relaxation spots to spend the perfect day on Regent Street.

From fronting The Daily Edit at Royal Ascot to hosting Channel 5's NFL Big Game DayEllie Evelyn has become known for bringing humour to the world of fashion. Her relatable sketches and sharp style commentary have made her one of Instagram's funniest fashion voices, and when it comes to shopping, Regent Street is one of her favourite destinations.

Ellie loves the neighbourhood for its mix of iconic brands, hidden gems and places to recharge between shopping stops, so we caught up with her to show us around her top spots.

Where to Shop on Regent Street

Ellie’s approach to shopping is less about trends and more about finding pieces that feel personal.

“From a young age, my parents always told me you can make anything look good if you wear it with confidence, and that's something I still carry with me whenever I'm getting dressed.”

“I love to pair a classic, tailored outfit with something out there. I think that putting together an outfit should always be intentional, but you should never take yourself too seriously, with clothes and life in general.”

And when it comes to finding those perfect pieces, Ellie knows exactly where to head.

Regent Street just has anything and everything, whether you're after a quick outfit for an event you forgot about or a long day of shopping.”

For Ellie’s classic, intentional look, add these to your list:

  • ARKET - Minimal, Scandi-style designs

  • King & Tuckfield - Slow fashion, British design and quality materials

  • Theory - Timeless yet modern wardrobe staples

And for the finishing touches that feel a little more ‘out there’:

Whether you’re searching for wardrobe staples, statement items or the latest collections, Regent Street has something for every style personality.

Pause for a Bite to Eat

No shopping trip is complete without a coffee break.

“If I'm on the go, I’ll always make time for a quick stop to gather my thoughts. I love me a Joe & The Juice!”

Then, when lunchtime rolls around, Ellie likes to keep it simple.

“Quite honestly, if I see sushi on the menu, I’m sold.”

There are few better places to sample sushi in the capital than Aqua Kyoto, and you’ll find it tucked away on Argyll Street, complete with a menu of contemporary Japanese cuisine and craft cocktails.

Whether you're grabbing something quick or settling in for some fine dining, Regent Street has plenty of places to refuel before heading back out.

Treat Yourself

Shopping isn’t the only way Ellie likes to unwind. Next on her list for a perfect day spent in Central London is some classic R&R!

“After a busy morning of shopping, some self care is needed. The best thing I’ve ever incorporated into my life is a classic lymphatic drainage massage. I’m also trying to look after my skin as best as possible, so I love to treat myself to a good facial.”

You can try lymphatic drainage for yourself at BIOGENA in the Quadrant Arcade, or treat yourself to a calming facial at Akasha Spa for an afternoon reset before continuing the day.

Slow Down in Style

For Ellie, evenings are all about winding down amongst good company.

“The way I recharge is always with friends or family. A couple margaritas over a catch up fills my cup both figuratively and literally!”

Whether that's rooftop drinks at The Nest, family-style dinner at Sabor or catching the latest film at Regent Street Cinema, the neighbourhood has plenty of ways to round off the day.

There’s a whole host of places to eatthings to do and ways to spend the season on Regent Street. Don’t forget to share your moments with us over on @RegentStreetW1 on Instagram and TikTok - we love to see what you’re getting up to!
