Our favourite month of the year has arrived (and it’s not just because of the multiple bank holidays)… the Future of Food Festival is back [insert cheer track here].

And whether you’re the type that’s booking menus months in advance or still deciding what’s for dinner at 6pm, Regent Street and St James’s have a table with your name on it. The only question is… what kind of foodie are you?

The Fine Foodie

For those who like their reservations hard to get and their menus impeccably curated.

  • Not one, but two Michelin-starred chefs? Don’t say we don’t spoil you. Alex Dilling x Merlin Labron-Johnson is a one-night-only collaboration at Hotel Café Royal, so expect precision, creativity and a meeting of two standout culinary minds. It’s fine dining at its most exciting.

  • A dining experience that comes with a little je ne sais quoi? Sign us up. As if the classic French cuisine on the menu at Richoux wasn't already tempting enough, they're now offering 10% off your entire food bill throughout May. Find out more here.

The Plant-Based Pioneer

For those who always check the vegetarian options first.

  • As well as his collab with Merlin Labron-Johnson, chef Alex Dilling has also curated a sample vegetarian tasting menu at Hotel Café Royal. With views over Regent Street's famous Curve and only 34 seats available, booking is a must if you'd like to secure your meat-free taste of Michelin star cuisine.

  • Over in nearby St James's, Italian restaurant Franco's has a tasty vegetarian and vegan menu to work your way through, and they're also offering an exclusive sustainable dish in time for the Future of Food festival. Find out how to claim it here.

The Sustainable Table

For those who believe knowing where your food comes from is more than a trend.

  • Another restaurant with a Future of Food exclusive is Wiltons, also over in nearby St James's. If seafood is your style, you'll be pleased to hear that Wiltons is known as London's 'home of oysters', serving up fresh dishes caught locally in Essex. Quote 'Future of Food festival' to your waiter before you're seated to claim your exclusive sustainable dish.

The Experience Seeker

For those who like some tea to go with their dinner.

  • Two words: fresh trainers. Switch things up with On x Pure Sport and join a guided 5K run through Regent Street before heading back for expert insights on hydration, recovery and performance (plus sneaky early access to the store).

  • For food that tastes good and does good too, take a seat at the Feel Good Supper Club with The Felix Project and Bettina Campolucci Bordi. Hosted at SMEG London, this three-course supper supports London’s largest food redistribution charity.

The Innovative Eater

For those who are always looking for the next new thing.

  • At the Adaptogens Masterclass at Madera Treehouse, explore plant-based elixirs and non-alcoholic cocktails with panoramic views over London. Led by Three Spirit founder Dash, it’s set to be part education, part experience and entirely fun.

We can’t wait to welcome you. So pick a restaurant (or four), book a table and head on down, tagging us on socials at @RegentStreetW1 with your foodie highlights.
