A Traffic-Free Festive Wonderland

On 6th December explore Regent Street’s Festive Mile and look out for three extra special London buses, against the backdrop of our iconic spirits soaring above the festive hustle and bustle.

There’s also some fun characters to meet along the iconic curve - from stilt walkers to extra special jugglers and funny festive butlers…

And not forgetting some exclusive experiences in the stores and surrounding streets, where seasonal treats await. Here’s a little taster of where not to miss:

  • Lacoste: Offering mulled wine, leather embossing, fabric embroidery, gift wrapping and a festive scented candle with purchases over £150.

  • NEOM Disco Taxi: Look out for their disco dancing flash mob and pop instore for a gift with purchase.

  • Mulberry: Sip a festive cocktail, have your gift wrapped beautifully and enjoy a gift with your purchase.

  • Marc Jacobs: Enjoy a festive drink and dance as they host an extra special DJ set from 5pm.

  • Theory: French sparkling wine is on offer alongside festive brownies and macarons.

  • 66° North: Stop by for a festive tipple and gift with purchase.

  • Calvin Klein: How about some personalised embroidery to make that gift extra special?

  • Hotel Café Royal: Look out for their festive Cakes & Bubbles pop up.

  • Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill: Christmas carols on their terrace while you sip on mulled wine and oysters - what more could put you in the festive spirit?

  • Ziggy Green: Wander over to Heddon Street where the Soho Saint Brass Band are performing between 4pm-7pm, and enjoy a mulled wine from their outdoor pop up bar.

Festive Bus Stops

The traditional London red buses, but make them festive and fabulous. While Regent Street is traffic-free, visit the three buses stopped down Regent Street’s Festive Mile, each offering a different experience for the whole family to enjoy:

  • The Spirit of Christmas Selfie Station: Head up to the top deck for an elevated seasonal selfie - perfectly posed above the hustle and bustle to capture the spirits lit up as a beautiful backdrop.

  • The Gift Wrap Station and Festive Crafts Bus:  Pop in for some free gift wrapping or stop by for some crafting with the kids. Gifts should be purchased on Regent Street or St James's.

  • The Choose Love Disco Bus: The open top musical bus will be hosting live music - including well-known DJs and festive choirs. So join the party and have a festive boogie.

Shopping

From seasonal treats to handcrafted bags, here are some highlights if you’re looking to tick off your Christmas gifts:

  • Carpo: Their sweet tooth will be spoilt for choice with Carpo's unique Greek nuts and chocolate ranges.

  • Polène: Wow her with Parisian style, whether it’s a handcrafted bag or statement jewellery.

  • Charles Tyrwhitt: Elevate his wardrobe with beautifully tailored men's shirts, and comfortable loungewear.

  • Penhaligon's: Update their signature scent with bespoke fragrances from this historic store.

  • Watches of Switzerland: Browse the luxury watches stocked instore and surprise them with a new time-teller.

  • Hamleys: A world-famous wonderland with toys, decorations and gifts for kids of all ages.

Eating

Award-winning menus, rooftop views, Bowie inspired backdrops, and dishes full of surprises, here are some highlights to dine out on:

  • Tendril: A (mostly) plant-based menu showcasing what’s possible and innovative with humble ingredients.

  • The Starman: Dine on British classics with a twist as you marvel at the David Bowie inspired memorabilia throughout.

  • Fonda: Indulge in contemporary Mexican food with vibrant dishes made from authentic ingredients.

  • Ambassadors Clubhouse: Taste the flavours of Punjab at this hidden gem on Heddon Street.

  • The Langham: For something refined and timeless, visit the birthplace of the traditional British afternoon tea (need we say more?).

Drinking

Rooftop views, cosy speakeasies, contemporary influences; whatever your cocktail style there’s somewhere for you:

  • Aqua Kyoto: If you enjoy your cocktails with stunning London views, look no further than this contemporary rooftop bar.

  • The Green Bar in Hotel Café Royal: Sit back and sip from their signature collection of botanicals and tonics, best served chilled with live jazz on Friday and Saturday nights.

  • Cicchetti Bar: Celebrate ‘aperitivo’ hours at this elegant bar hidden beneath Piccolino, and explore their cocktails, spirits and fragrant wines.

  • Brasserie Zédel: A lively night out is a given at this Parisian brasserie and cabaret café.

  • The Green Room at Casa do Frango: The perfect speakeasy spot to settle into for the evening with cocktails paired with Algarvian-flavoured nibbles.

St James's

Where the iconic, the historic and the innovative mingle. First, stop by the stunning Wishing Tree, an illuminated installation in St James’s Market Pavilion and tap to donate to The Felix Project, a London-based food redistribution charity. Then tick off your gifting list and settle in for a mouthwatering meal, or festive tipple:

  • Fortnum & Mason: Marvel at their Christmas windows before finding the perfect gift hamper laden with expertly curated treats. From truffles and biscuits, to festive teas and tipples.

  • The Stafford: Enjoy mulled wine and festive cocktails in The American Bar.

  • ASSOS: As they launch their Winter collection there’s a free gift with purchases on 6th December.

  • Floris: Create a bespoke perfume for her at this iconic store on Jermyn Street, established in 1730.

  • Truefitt & Hill: Pamper him from a collection of luxury grooming gifts, from shaving kits to fragrances.
